ATHEX headed north yesterday for a 5th session in a row to a new multiyear high, in line with the European stock markets. In more detail, the General Index rose by 0.62% at 1,882.83 units (FTSE Large Cap: +0.58%, FTSE Mid Cap: +1.39%, Banks Index: +0.34%) and the traded value was shaped at EUR 229.2m, up from Wednesday’s EUR 186.3m. We expect the positive momentum to continue albeit at a milder tone, with Metlen in focus today.

Metlen launches tender offer for the exchange of its shares with METLEN PLC; Acceptance period starts today
· Metlen Energy & Metals PLC announced yesterday the submission of a voluntary share exchange offer to acquire all ordinary registered shares, of Metlen Energy & Metals S.A, with the main purpose the admission to trading of the Company Shares on the London Stock Exchange’s main market
· The prospectus of the tender offer was also approved yesterday by the Hellenic Capital Markets Committee
· Metlen PLC has also applied for a secondary listing and admission to trading of all of the Offeror Shares on the Main Market of ATHEX. The Acceptance Period commences today and will end on 25.07.2025.
· If at the end of the Acceptance Period, Metlen PLC holds Company Shares representing at least 90% (results will be announced on 29 July) of the total voting rights in Metlen S.A.:
a) Metlen PLC will initiate the squeeze-out procedure for any remaining holders of Company Shares to transfer those Company Shares to Metlen PLC, in accordance with the Law and
b) holders of Company Shares who have not accepted the Tender Offer will be entitled, within a period of three (3) months from the publication of the results of the Tender Offer, to exercise the right to sell-out.
· It is noted that the squeeze out will take place at the 6-month VWAP, that is EUR 39.6/share, 15.2% lower compared to yesterday’s close.
· Admission and commencement of trading of the Offeror Shares on the LSE and ATHEX are expected on 4 August 2025.
PPC announces the commencement of construction of a pioneer pilot hybrid RES project in Astypalea
PPC subsidiary “PPC Renewables”, is proceeding with the construction of a hybrid plant, in Astypalea which will consist of a solar plant with a capacity of 3.53MW, as well as a battery energy storage unit with a total capacity of 14.12 MWh. The construction of the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 and will transform Astypalea to a Green Island.
Titan Trades ex-dividend on Monday
Titan will trade ex-dividend of EUR 3/share on Monday (DY: 7.4%).
INTRALOT signs 10-year contract extension with the Idaho Lottery
INTRALOT announced that its U.S. subsidiary, INTRALOT, Inc., and the Idaho Lottery have agreed to a 10-year contract extension, reaffirming an established partnership and based on INTRALOT’s commitment to deliver innovative, technology-based lottery equipment and services. The extension officially takes effect in September 2027 and will include the statewide roll-out of new industry-leading equipment to enhance player experiences, while increasing benefits – financially and in player satisfaction -for the State of Idaho and Gem State residents.
National Bank of Greece Share Buyback
National Bank of Greece announced that from 17 to 24 June, it purchased 673,547 common shares at an average price of EUR 10.7307/share and a cost of EUR 7,227,663. Following the above transactions, NBG holds directly 4,221,669 own shares, which correspond to 0.46% of its share capital.
CAIUS CAPITAL LLP lowers its participation in Bank of Cyprus
Bank of Cyprus announced that CAIUS CAPITAL LLP lowered its participation in the bank’s share capital to 2.97% from 3.86% in the previous notification.
Profile’s AGM approved the dividend distribution of EUR 0.0647 per share
The AGM of the company approved the dividend distribution of EUR 0.064657 per share with dividend ex-date set for 1 July, while payment date will be Tuesday 8 July. (DY: 0.9%)
Ideal Holdings new share capital structure
Ideal Holdings announced that following the completion of the share capital increase and the issuance of 8,000,000 new shares the new share capital amounts to 56,003,921 shares. Following the completion Mr. Viltogiannis Stylianos owns 14.43% of the total share capital, Thrush Investments holds 11.01%, Y-Capital owns 5.04%, while the remaining 69.52% is the free float of the company.
