In more detail, the General Index rose by 1.12% at 1,915.24 units (FTSE Large Cap: +1.20%, FTSE Mid Cap: +0.40%, Banks Index: +2.02%) and the traded value was shaped at EUR 246.8m, down from Wednesday’s EUR 252.0m. We expect a quiet session today with some mild profit taking in place.

Reportedly (euro2day), National Bank of Greece has not appealed to the Competition Commission on the acquisition of Ethniki Insurance by Piraeus Bank. The same reports indicate that the legal representatives of NBG are just submitting questions to the Competition Commission on the case.
OTE issued EUR 60.0m bond subscribed by Deutsche Telekom
OTE announced that its subsidiary OTE plc, issued a EUR 60.0m bond due October 2025 at a yield of 2.394% per annum and was fully subscribed by Deutsche Telekom.

According to Mononews.gr, the Municipalities of Glyfada and Alimos and three local associations, representing 1,000 residents of Glyfada, Alimos and Kato Elliniko, have issued a formal legal notice to Lamda Development and construction companies, with notification to the Minister of the Environment, regarding the dust clouds, noise, and traffic chaos from the works at the Elliniko construction sites, emphasizing, among other things, that the approved environmental terms are not being met. They inform them that if they do not comply within 15 days, they will appeal to the Court with interim measures, requesting the cessation of works and compensation.
