ATHEX headed south yesterday, in line with the European stock markets. In more detail, the General Index slipped by 0.41% at 1,828.31 units (FTSE Large Cap: -0.35%, FTSE Mid Cap: -0.82%, Banks Index: -0.94%) and the traded value was shaped at EUR 196.5m, down from Wednesday’s EUR 216.0m. We expect ATHEX to consolidate at current levels.

Piraeus Bank sold 80.10% of its non-core ATM business to Printec
Piraeus Financial Holdings announced that its subsidiary, Piraeus Bank, following the completion of the spin-off of its non-core ATM business with the establishment of KEA, has successfully concluded the sale of 80.10% in KEA to Printec Cash Network S.A., a member of Printec Group. The total net assets of KEA as of 25 March stood at EUR 11.0m. Piraeus will retain the ATM fleet located within its branch network premises, as well as a large number of owned off-site ATM (circa 360).
Alpha Services and Holdings trades ex-dividend today
The stock is trading ex-dividend today (EUR 0.0303479759/share, DY: 1.1%) and payment will commence on 29 May.
Bank of Cyprus to trade ex-dividend on Monday
The stock is scheduled to trade ex-dividend on Monday (EUR 0.48/share, DY: 7,3%) and payment will commence on 25 June. Moreover, BoC announced that the trading of the 317,817 new shares with a nominal value of EUR 0.10 each to twenty executives will commence today on ATHEX and CSE.
Metlen Gets Solar, Battery Storage Contracts in UK Worth £110m (Bloomberg)
Metlen signed six new contracts for the development of renewable energy projects in the UK, further strengthening its presence in the country, company says in statement. The total value of these contracts is around £110m. These new EPC contracts are for five solar parks and one battery energy storage system (BESS), with a combined capacity of 313.4 MW. Construction is set to begin at various stages throughout
2025, with all units expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
Corinth Pipeworks secures strategic role in Italy’s Adriatica pipeline project
Cenergy Holdings announces that Corinth Pipeworks, its steel pipes segment, was awarded several contracts by Snam in Italy for the manufacture and supply of more than 180km of pipeline for the Adriatica project, a key infrastructure development that will enhance Italy’s natural gas network.
Group revenues came in at EUR 83.1m (-9% y-o-y), reported EBITDA at EUR 11.6m (+1% y-o-y) and EBT at EUR 3.3m (+45% y-o-y). Net debt increased to EUR 165.6m from EUR 94.0m in 1Q24.
- The drop in top line is attributed to the IT sector because of the completion of large projects for public sector organizations in Greece and abroad. IT revenues tumbled by 30% y-o-y to EUR 24.1m, whilst Attica Department Stores top line rose by 4.0% y-o-y to EUR 48.8m. Recall that the results did not incorporate the acquisitions of Barba Stathis and Halvatzis Makedoniki.
Alpha Trust Andromeda 1Q25 results
Net profit came in at EUR 1.63m (-4% y-o-y) and NAV rose to EUR 33.06m or EUR 9.06/share from EUR 8.85/share in 1Q24. NAV/share increased further to EUR 9.13 on 21 May and hence the stock was trading at a discount of 26.59%.
The company reported its 1Q25 results, marking a robust start for the year. In more detail, revenues reached EUR 8.5m, up by 54.2% y-o-y due to earlier Easter celebration, EBITDA strongly increased by 94.7% y-o-y, to EUR 1.6m and EBT landed to EUR 1.3m, up by 25.4% y-o-y, however recording a softer margin of 15.6% vs. 19.1 in 1Q24. Net cash position of the group reached EUR 15.9m, slightly up from 15.8m in FY24. As previously disclosed, management will propose a dividend distribution of EUR 0.17/sh in the upcoming AGM. (DY: 4.72%).
Trade Estates will hold its AGM on 13 June, to approve among others the distribution of the remaining dividend of EUR 0.052/sh for FY24 and a new share buyback programme for up to 10% of the company’s share capital with a price range from EUR 1-6 per share and duration for the next 24 months. (DY: 3.06%)

Austriacard Holdings will hold its AGM on 25 June, to approve among others the dividend distribution for FY24.
